My name is Ian Douglas and I am the author of these affordable and easy to follow guides. My aim is to teach basic computer skills step-by-step through a series of easy to follow "hands-on" bite-size tutorials.

Each Guide in my series is very readable and practical and describes it's subject using very little jargon. There is no longer any need to feel frustrated and embarrassed if, for example, you want to start publishing your own newletter but don't have a clue how to add a Mailing List signup form to your Blog. My aim is to cover each subject in an easy to follow, screen-shot illustrated, step-by-step way as if you were standing beside me looking over my shoulder. With my help your computer can remain firmly on your desk and your window unshattered as you learn the basics the Made Simple way.
